Raggedy, my dear...Forgive me not coming by, but I am knee deep in "psper" and trying to purge it all....This is a HUGE and DEPRESSING job....But it must be done.
So I have not been on the Net a whole lot, nor doing much visiting....
I hope ALL is well with you my dear, and that you will forgive my absence....!

Hi Raggedy -- I was in Nebraska last week. We didn't see any trees that looked like that one. But this week there may be.
Hang in there, winter will officially start in ten or so days!
..
BTW, I have some Nebraska pictures on my blog several times for last week (Jims' Little Blog).

A church is but a man-made structure; the faith of the congregation makes it more.

If a garage was full of faith-filled cars, it'd still be a garage. Sorry, GM ;)

G. Keillor knows what it is like to be in church and fall into the aisle (making a fool of himself) because he was tickled. He will embrace his pain now as they stone him. To hear him speak of Christianity is almost blasphemous. His little Sunday school stint gave him an opportunity to hang with those on his emotional level. It takes one to know one. Believe and get ready for the "sexual" details in my true tell all book about my relationship with him. I pity and encourage his wife, but my heart bleeds for the little one.Enough said. tag. you are it.kmlwaa-"lily white American"
Great blog, baby. I actually do not like the internet.

Dear Raggedy ~~ This is one of the best quotes I have read and it is true. Some folks go to church just to feel superior to the rest of us. I hope you are keeping well and ready for the Christmas festivities. I bet the kids are ready and waiting!!
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year in 2008. Much love, Merle.

I don't agree at all with this quote ! I know a lot of very good Christians who never go to church but I know also the once who go to church only to show their new clothes and are not behaving as Christians at all. For me church and religion are two completely different things. Especially the catholic church !

A Christian to me is someone who not only turns to God when things are bad BUT remembers Him every day when things are good as well. I believe I do that...in all things good in my life people who know me know I give the credit and thanks to Him.

This quote does have an aura of truth about it. You don't have to be in a church to be a Christian...only He knows how sincere we are in our hearts.

Merry Christmas to one of my favorite vets...take care of you.
